Hooerays parent and toddler group is run by volunteers from the church and is open to parents and grandparents with babies and toddlers up to 4 years old.  We also welcome childminders.  The cost is £1 per family or childminder per week.

Wednesdays (term time only)
1.45 pm until 3.15 pm.

Our aim is to offer an age-appropriate, safe and happy place for the children, while the adults can meet with new and regular friends.  There is no membership list – anyone is welcome to attend when they can.
 
At each session we have toys for all ages (including an area for young babies), and a selection of activities such as home corner, shop, dressing up, slide, books, play dough or other craft activity.  We provide squash and biscuits for the children and a hot or cold drink for the adults.  Towards the end of each session we put away the toys and have a song time followed by ride-on toys.

We also have a Christmas party each year (which needs to be pre-booked) and usually try to have a special activity before the summer holidays.
